The Friends of the Vestavia Hills Library Used Book Store, located on the main floor, offers a large selection of fiction, non-fiction (cooking, travel, religion, textbooks, etc.), children's books, records, and paperbacks. Come in and browse!

When you become a FRIEND of the Vestavia Hills Library you will meet new people and become a part of the community. Friends help keep the community connected through a monthly newsletter and the organizing of special events and programs for the Library in the Forest. Your participation can help you learn new skills through community outreach planning, marketing, and fundraising.

"PALS" are People Affecting Library Success, a group of parents whose mission is to support the Vestavia Hills Children’s Library. We are looking for new members, and we want you! Our meetings are open to anyone wishing to attend. Money we raise goes directly to our Children’s Library for books and materials, as well as programming such as Family Nights, Summer Reading Program activities, holiday parties and more. Reading Opportunities Challenging Kids
R.O.C.K. in Liberty Park's mission is to promote library services through the support of the Vestavia Hills Public Library to Liberty Park, a community of Vestavia Hills, Alabama.
The R.O.C.K. in Liberty Park Outreach is open weekly in the meeting room at the Liberty Park Sports Complex. R.O.C.K. currently helps to support weekly storytimes during the fall and spring for young children. Our programs are a sample of the available programs offered on a regular basis at the Vestavia Hills Public Library.
